🎆 Fiat 500L 1.4 T Jet Test
Rebuilt a 1.4 non turbo multiair, having trouble starting. Just want to start off with saying I'm still fairly new to the 500's in general and very new to this forum so let me know if this isn't the right place for this kind of question. Got a 2012 500 Sport automatic with 130k miles a few months ago with a real bad misfire in cylinder 1.

A few months after getting it I put a Go Pedal and 500madness intake on it. I had an issue with an oil leak on top of mu engine and we replaced a ring in the neck of where you pour the oil into and it fixed it. The T-Jet's 1.4 liter turbo-charged engine is rated at 113 BHP (5,000 rpm) and a class-leading 207 Nm of torque (2,200 rpm). This 1,368 cc engine uses the exact same block as the N/A Linea. However, the aluminium head is all new, while the internals are beefed up for the turbo-charger's max boost of 2.2 bar.
The first step is to check the pressure in the rail after stopping the engine – it should be about 3 bar and not drop below 2.5 bar after a few hours. The working pressure in the rail at idle should rise to 3.5 bar. Most often, it is the fuel pressure regulator that fails. There is also a fuel filter in the fuel pump in the tank.
